Red Faction: Guerrilla $12.99

Truly one of the better games of 2009.  Red Faction: Guerrilla is a technical marvel that nobody should miss.  The destruction elements that we were first introduced to us on the PS2 for Red Faction 1 are back, and better than ever.

This new Red Faction moves the action from the first person perspective into the third person, ala Grand Theft Auto.  What sets it apart from being just another sandbox game is the fact that you can destroy almost anything in the game.  You can take out a few support beams of a nearby building and watch the entire structure fall into itself.  You can also launch your car off a cliff and have it crash through a wall, taking out anyone that gets in your way in the process.  The physics are truly astounding.

The single player is a very solid and robust experience while the multiplayer can be quite fun at times also.  I should throw out a caution that the multiplayer at this point is being dominated by the few who still play it, so you might receive a rough welcome.

Here's the best part.  Gamefly overstocked on this title when it first game out and they are getting rid of copies for $12.99.  For the money, you will not find a better deal online.
